Private Charter Flights VS Commercial Travel

Updated February 2022

There was already a rising trend in business and leisure private charter flights pre-Covid. Now, post-Covid, the world is seeing a more significant increase. Why is this?

It's primarily because commercial flights no longer provide the certainty that businesses and people need. The constant cancellations or adjusted schedules, expensive time-draining delays, over-crowding on the aircraft, check-in lines, and security are causing anxiousness amongst those travelling and mounting expenses for businesses.

While Zoom has been the buzz program for the last two years, and it's made a niche for itself, it can never replace the power of face-to-face meetings or those loving family hugs

When Benjamin Franklin coined the phrase, 'Time is Money', I'm sure he didn't imagine how true it would be in today's time-strapped world.

If you can skip the lines when you fly commercial, the time saved could ultimately lead to millions of dollars for your business.

And it's not just the time saved in the terminal. Flying private means you can make two to three stops in one day, visiting factories or sites that would usually suck extra budget and time due to inflexible commercial flight schedules and additional stop-overs. If you have to travel last-minute, commercial fares are also exorbitant even if you can find a suitable schedule.

With no stress in the terminal, no unnecessary delays waiting for somebody to board the flight and no long waits on the tarmac, you're totally in control of your private commute and your arrival time.

When you planned, you board your private flight from your private lounge and take off immediately. No one tells you to put your laptop away 30 minutes before landing either. You can work right up until the aircraft stops, and the door opens, revealing your waiting car at the bottom of the stairs.

If you want to avoid exposing yourself or key staff to unnecessary health risks, a private charter is a safe and secure option, end to end. From the private lounge, you're escorted directly to your jet, where it's only you and the crew onboard, not hundreds of people from origins you have no control over. Your luggage is delivered to the car waiting beside the plane at your destination. There's no need to enter an airport at all.

There's also little opportunity to talk business on commercial flights, even if you are travelling business class. Not only is the seating restrictive, even if you are next to each other, you're also surrounded by people who might take great interest in your discussions.

You can speak freely to everyone on the aircraft on a private charter flight as you're the only ones on board. Plus, you have ample room to move around spread out documents and computers on large tables.

Private charter flights also allow for greater flexibility, productivity and time savings. Whether you're carrying out a crucial sales mission, visiting a new development site, or treating your team to a top-class end-of-year treat, the time you share in the air is priceless. There's also no danger of leaked confidential conversations, and it certainly beats a stuffy boardroom.

It's time to save yourself the headaches associated with commercial flights and enjoy the peace of mind of chartering your own flight. There's no comparison. Private charters have superior safety measures, elite pilots, crews, luxurious onboard catering and accommodation. Flights can be organized with as little as 2-hours notice, along with a door-to-door private car transfer service if required.

If you love flying charters, there's also private jet membership. It's better than frequent flyer programs. They guarantee access to a private plan in exchange for an annual or monthly membership fee.
